A Poem About Pierogi
By: Fr. Jan Szylar, CM
(Poland)
I think about pierogi
Pierogi are crispy.
When my eyes are closed
My dream is of pierogi.
I dream about pierogi,
I have eaten pierogi,
But I don’t have pierogi now,
Because I’ts not the time for pierogi.
Pierogi are like flowers
which I pick from my garden,
They are a little soft and fluffy,
with sweet cheese inside.
When I read about pierogi,
When I think about pierogi,
When I talk about pierogi,
I know that delicious are piergoi!
