Brazil
By:  Fr. Mario Coelho, S.C.J.
(Brazil)

I am a Priest, and I celebrate Mass every weekend. I like to celebrate Mass because I meet people, and it is a good way for me to pray. In Brazil, a lot of people attend Mass on weekends, and they are always in a very good mood. There is often a lot of music, bands, and meetings; it is an important moment to meet with people. Sometimes, I like to go after Mass to drink beer with my friends, eat pizza, and talk about our plans. I have many friends in Taubate, the place where I live. On Sundays, I often eat lunch with many of my family and friends. Also, often I like to plan my classes on a Sunday because I am a Bioethics professor, and I use that time to also read books about theology.

For Priests in Brazil, the weekends are very busy times with many Masses and meetings, but I like my weekends in Brazil. My weekends are always very busy.
