The ESL Times / Summer, 2003
A Short Goodbye for Now!!!
Just a quick note from all of us here at Sacred Heart School of Theology’s English as a Second Language Program to thank first our students who allowed us to publish their work, and secondly to the school for its help in printing this newsletter. We would like to say thank you to Bill Hein in printing; Tom Weis, our computer genius; Gloria Picucci, Fr. Paul’s secretary; and Marge Lirette, Fr. Brackin's secretary for their help also. All of these people have been very kind and patient, and without their help, The ESL Times would not be possible; so we are very grateful for their support! Thank you – thank you to all of you!
Also, we want to extend an invitation to everyone reading this newsletter to come and visit us someday here in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Sacred Heart Monastery is a great place to take part in the religious life and to study; and we feel that Milwaukee is a great town with lots of fun and interesting things to do; and our teachers, the SCJ priests, the faculty, and the staff here all try our best to make your visit to the United States enjoyable and educational.
We sincerely hope that one day in the future you will come and visit us here in Milwaukee – either for the first time, or for a return visit. You know that you would always be welcomed.
Until that future time, the people of the ESL Program at Sacred Heart School of Theology would like to wish you the best in your future, and to say, “God bless you”!
Hoping to one day meet in the future,
Best wishes from:
Fr. Paul, Ruth, Brooke, Mike, Liz, Tom, Gloria, and Abe.
