Parents are the Best Teachers

student pictureSome people think that their children’s education is not their responsibility. That is why they do not care about their children’s education. On the other hand, some people think that the education of their children is also their responsibility. They think the success of their children also depends on their participation in their children’s studies. I prefer the second opinion and think children’s success depends mostly on the participation of their parents.

Children may go to the best school in their city, but if their parents never help them with their studies or set a good example, it will not help the educational process that they receive in school. In other words, if in school their teachers teach very well and set a good example, but at home their parents never pay attention to their school work or set a good example, what they learn in school may be useless. For example, if in school, children are taught that smoking is not good for their health, but their parents smoke in their home, what they receive in school is in vain.

On the other hand, if children do not have good teachers in school that never give good examples but they have good parents that always care about their school work, help them, and accompany them when they are studying, and also set a good example, then I am sure that these children will be good children. I do believe the successes of children’s studies really depend on the participation of their parents. So, that is why I believe that parents are the best teachers.

Above all, I realize that parents can be the best teachers for their children if they participate in their children’s studies. I believe that the successes of children really depend on their parents’ participation.
