The ESL Times / Spring, 2005 The Field Trip to the Art Museum
This modern design resembles a ship and is very impressive because it looks like a ship going to the lake with its sails open. When we were inside it, it felt like we were sailing on the lake. This beautiful building has a pavilion with two large wings that open and close twice during the day; they open and close at noon and at six o’clock in the evening. Inside the building the majority of the exhibitions are
about modern art; most of them were made by American artists.
The museum also has modern art from Europe; however there
are excellent expositions of older art too, and most of
them were made by European artists. Finally, I would like to say that our trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum was a good experience, especially for me because I saw new things, and I got to see some interesting art again that I had seen and enjoyed before.
